Our commitment

Christopher Michael Timepieces is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time project.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we have done

  • Tested our storefront, product pages, collection pages, cart, search results, and policy pages with automated accessibility testing tools against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA criteria.
  • Corrected text and link color combinations that did not meet minimum contrast ratios.
  • Added descriptive labels to form controls, including product quantity fields.
  • Added landmark roles so assistive technology can navigate page regions.
  • Provided a "Skip to content" link on every page.
  • Provided alternative text for images.
  • Ensured pages can be zoomed and resized without loss of content or function.
  • Ensured we do not rely on color alone to convey information.

Known limitations

  • Third-party content. Our checkout, payment processing, and certain embedded features are provided by Shopify and other third parties. We do not control their code, though we choose vendors that publish accessibility commitments.
  • Automated testing has limits. Automated tools cannot detect every accessibility barrier. We are continuing manual keyboard-only and screen-reader testing.
  • Product photography. Our listings rely heavily on detailed photographs of watch condition. We are working to make our written condition descriptions complete enough to stand on their own without reference to the images.

If any part of this website prevents you from finding information or completing a purchase, contact us and we will help you directly — including describing a watch's condition in detail, answering any question, and completing a sale by phone or email.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five business days and will work with you to provide the information or complete the transaction another way.
