TAG Heuer's first chronograph built entirely from ceramic, right down to the bracelet. The Carrera Heuer 01 Full Black Matt Ceramic takes the modular 45mm Carrera case and renders the bezel, case middle, lugs and H-link bracelet in matte black ceramic, a material that will not take the scratches that steel does. Only the functional parts — the pushers, the crown, the folding clasp — remain steel, coated in black titanium carbide.
The skeleton dial is ceramic too, opened up to show the Calibre Heuer 01 manufacture movement working underneath: red column wheel, skeletonized oscillating weight and chronograph bridge, and the date disc turning behind its window at 3:30. Fifty hours of reserve at 4 Hz.
